  • For Sale Small-Medium Koi **SOLD**

    hey guys

last father's day, i bought my dad some small koi.
i didnt really think this one through, but now they are getting too big for his pond

i would like to get $100 ono for the lot (they are a lot bigger than i thought and dad won't let them go for much less than that)
    Approx. 20cm

i think there's 4 or 5...can't remember. Will post photos tonight - didnt manage to take photos (too dark), will try again tmr after work

    Please Note:

Koi require space - so it'd be good if you have a decent sized pond (at least 1500L min - but the bigger the better) cos they grow big, and they grow fast.

Koi only grow within their own environment, I have a few around 60 cm long in a 3,000 litre pond and they haven't grown any bigger in the last few years.

Put them in a river or larger pond and they can reach twice that size.

Bottom right first picture, top left second picture.

edit, and what Mr F said. They've got space there, they're not going to keep growing until they burst out of the sides of the pond. Putting them in a river would be bad though. Mmmkay?

Hahaa yeah I know. But I have a family friend who works for dept of environment and she's a real animal lover and she's been on my back about it for a while. Lol
On the wa koi website they recommend minimum 1000L.

And I feel bad. Just knowing they ain't reaching their full potential. Just like how it pisses me off when ppl keep goldfish in a bowl. They can get massive too (eg like my fantail in there- he was only like 3cm when I bought him 5yrs ago lol)

                      Anyway...

Regardless of all that, my dad is more in to his fancy goldfish and can't keep koi and fancies Tgt.

So yeah price is of course negotiable, just drop me a PM or post in here if your interested )
