    hey guys,

well the time has come where i am just working too hard, and have too much of a social life to justify having two bikes at once. This, combined with a my future plans, means that i am reluctantly putting my Z750 onto the market.

it is a sad sale, i have owned the bike for the past 4 years, buying it off its original owner in April 2007 when it had only 12,000km on the clock. in that time it has never missed a beat, performing city commuting, country rides, a track day, even a 3day ride down south without any issues.

this has seen the odometer rise to it's current total of 43,500km.

it has been regularly lubed, oiled and serviced (with the major services by K-Tec) and kept lovingly clean and dirt free. when not being ridden it lives under a bike cover in my garage.

i have added a few bits and pieces over the years and the list goes a little something like this:
    • Rear seat cowl
    • Yoshimura RS-3 Slip on exhaust
    • Digi Gear indicator
    • K&N Air Filter
    • Oggy Knobs
    • ASFR Flat Bars & Harris grips (still have the originals)
    • Oberon bar-end mirrors (still have the originals)
    • Oberon brake reservoir cover (still have the originals)
    • Galfer wave rear brake disc
    • New Bridgestone Battleax rear tyre (as in only 100km old!)
I bought this bike as my first "bike bike" after sitting on a 250 for a year, and i would say it is probably one of the top bikes suited to this purpose. it is comfortable, manageable and handles well, while giving you the power and perks of the larger capacity engine and brakes.

Any issues? None. the bike is pretty much spotless apart from a couple of unfortunate stone chips on the fuel tank, but these are hard to notice unless in direct light. mechanically and otherwise this bike runs like a dream.

    I am asking $6,500 ONO.

Registration is valid until August this year.

Feel free to post up your interest here, or send me a PM if you want my mobile number. i am happy to give you a test ride, provided you are genuinely interested. i.e. no tyre kickers please!

now, what for sale thread would be complete without pics?

did you send me a message yesterday asking about a trade? like i mentioned, i just don't have the time these days to justify having two bikes sitting in my garage, as i barely have the time to ride one! thanks again for the offer mate, and sorry i can't help you out on that one.

That's only first major service distance, only just run in. (Seriously!)

                            cheers Desmo,

to be honest, this engine really feels bulletproof. i have never had any issues with anything motor-wise (or anything else for that matter!!). the bike runs as well now, if not better, than the day i bought it.
