  • For Sale 2008 Suzuki GSXR600 Race bike

    For sale is my K8 GSXR 600 race/track bike. I bought it as a repairable write off with very minor fairing damage (have photos if required). It has completed one full season of racing, and has seen me, as a novice rider, down to 61.3s round Barbs. Still has plenty more to give, especially considering I was tipping the scales at 105kg without gear.


    Sale will include a Vortex front headlift stand with appropriate pin, and LaCorsa rear paddock stand. Can also through in throw in lap timer and tire warmers to complete the package if needed.


    It has been religiously serviced every 3 track/ride days, minimum of an oil and filter change with radiator flush.


    Bike currently has the following:

    - Yoshi muffler with custom link pipe

    - Probolt fairing bolts and Dzus fasteners
    - Vortex rearsets
    - GB Racing engine covers
    - Warp Speed radiator guard
    - Manual fan switch (using original highbeam switch)
    - GB Racing lower chain guard
    - DynoJet PCV (custom tune from Chain Reactions producing 109hp)

    - Bike has only done 4000km of track work

    The bike is fully lockwired with appropriate overflow bottles to meet MOMs regs.

    Water in radiator has been flushed and replaced with coolant if the bike was to sit any longer than two weeks.

    Valve clearances were checked early 2015.

    Best I can do to describe the issue is this.
    Normally it goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, shift, BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    But now it's a bit more like this
    BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-R-R-r-r-r-r-r-, shift

      Fairings are currently being sanded and prepped for fresh paint
