Keep getting Logged out

I've reset my password as instructed in a previous thread that's now closed, but I still keep getting logged out and not remembered. For example if I leave PSB up on the pooter and walk away for even 15mins, next time I come back and click on something, I'm logged out.My Inbox still has "sent messages" in it and no previous received messages, although new ones have been coming through.

Also could you advise on the new "reputation" feature and how you can check yours?

And one other thing, are the friends lists and comments going to be carried over to the profiles? Mine's looking a little sparse without them.

Yeah I keep getting logged out as well, but I didn't have to re register or anything Also I have no problems with this on other sites at the moment but had a similar problem on cbr1100xx.org 6 mths ago after their "upgrade" and clearing cookies etc made no difference there it was a forum glitch

Are you getting logged straight away or is Remeber me not working and you log out after 15 minutes of inactivity

+1 for this i also get logged out all the time

i think my REMEMBER ME button isnt working

some times it takes a few log ins to actually hold.

im having a similar problem.

log into psb and all good. make sure the remember me is checked when i log in. close browser (other instances of firefox still open). open new window and go back to psb (all within a minute). need to log in again. log in but main screen indicates im not logged in as all forums except this one are private.

manually delete all psb cookies and i can then login and access all areas. if i repeat im back to the original problem. ie, everytime i want to access psb i need to delete all cookies related to perthstreetbikes.com

works fine on IE7.

ohh...and yes ive changed my password too.

ill test this again now on IE7 and see what happens.

DaveR6 explained exactly what happens on the home computer. Haven't tried blasting ALL the "Private Data" in firefox at home, so I'll give that a go this arvo, but it works just fine at work.

Ok ive managed to replicate this.

tick remember me and login.
Close browser.
Reopen browser and have to login.

Login
Reset password to something different than your old password
Logout then login(tick remember me) to ensure the new password is taken.
Close Browser
Open browser and im still logged in., Problem solvered

The only other thing i can do is delete the referance to you old account. this should fix it aswell.

If after doing the above you still get logged out post here.

i havent deleted ALL cookies and i really dont want to do this, but made sure all PSB were deleted.
