I was wondering where the option of entering a link with a description is now? (ie: when people enter a link and it appears as 'clicky')
I can only find the options to enter the link as it appears (ie: cPanel®......) or to enter the actual image/picture into the thread.

    Cheers

    Code:
    [ URL="http://www.google.com"]Clicky[/URL ]

I think the above method works if you use the proper edit and not the quick reply.

You paste in your address and hit ok and then it inserts teh code, some of it highlighted, the highlighted text is what you edit for smart arse comments

In your user CP > Options. For the editor are you using Standard with Extras or WYSIWYG?

If standard with extras then the edit window should look very close to what it did with the old IP board

change it to standard and then when creating a post just hit the link button

                [ URL="http://test"]http://test[/URL ]

The url will come out looking like the above. just change the name of the underlined text
