  • How cool is this! Stealth mirrors...

I was contemplating adapting 999 mirrors to my bike, but found this place in the States that do "stealth" mirrors.

    What makes them stealth?

The standard mirrors look like this:

So with this kit, you can fuck them off. He drills holes in the standard mirrors, and they mount some bright-ass LEDs.. voila!

Well, share the address..... dont be shy.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

Ack sorry! AFAIK they only do Ducati/Bimota.. but I'm sure if enough people nag the dude he might start doing other bikes.

pacman: `Cause you ditch the standard indicators, and you can only really see the LEDs when they're on. Thus, stealth..

gpx_gal: Um.. probably not. But, then, I doubt Campo's flush-mount indicator kit would pass ADRs, either. I guess technically you could get a yellow sticker for them..

maybe if there smaller than the standard ones, cars can sneak up on you easier :?:

or maybe they make you invisable to radar :?:

                  or fuck knows :!:

Most things / modifications we do on our bikes are a no / no anyway, does'nt stop us, does it :!:

Calvin: Yeah I reckon it looks fantastic! Might buy a spare set of mirrors and have them modified, as I like being able to revert back to original (especially if I get in trouble with da law).

And yeah, practically everything we does is illegal anyway; I know I don't have a hope of passing noise ADRs with the Termignoni system - that's why Ducati give it to you in a cardboard box when you buy the bike, instead of bolting the thing on. Plus there's what you said about gearing, RPM and noise testing...

Hey Chris, yeah my indicators are legal, they just had to be 30cm or more apart. They are also three times brighter than the standard ones so had no hassles passing them through.
