    Hey guys,
how many peeps here insure their bikes?
I tried insuring my XR but they wanted $2300 at SGIO
if i bought a road bike id definately want it insured in case i stacked it and busted up the fairing.
Is there a better company to insure with for bikes like RAC. The only reason i want to stick with SGIO is cos they insure ma cage!!!

its good to see some nice ride weather agian!!!
    why is stopping so important??

I was quoted $1,800py on my $6,300 bike (not worth it). Ive had it for 2 years and not crashed it.. 1 more year and I would of payd the bike off by not getting insurence.

I know people who pay 4k per year on their bike....

Hewie: I thought 60% was as high as your NCB could go? Guess not...

The Duc costs me (incl. lid cover) just over $1300 a year - I'm still young but have a 50% NCB. Sucks though, I pay that much to insure a bike I can ride for maybe 2 months a year... beats having it not insured, though.

Shoxer: I know! It's crazy man. Two years of paying that and you could have bought a whole other bike..

                      insurance

My KLX used to cost $830 a year through RAC. Going through SGIO cause the did a really good deal for rolling house, business and bike insurance in together. Rac was half what i was quoted anywere else. I have 60% no claim bonus. Wish someone would come and steal it, insured for nearly seven grand.

9 - nup ... some insurance companies will give u a "bonus" on ur NCB if u hold mutliple polices (or mutliple personaltities) and swann base their policy estimate on ur other insurance .... hence 65% ...

shox - who was that quote thru ??? jesus .. im insured for 7k for $500
