ffs, who cares what we think, it'll be your bike.

Go ride them, see what you like, see what you can afford to service and insure.

Do you manage to put on your own underwear in the mornings? Or do you want somebody to hold your hand for that too.

            My impartial return comments:

if you have to ask advice then the suzuki is the only option.

If you liked the ducati enough to own one then the suzuki would never measure up, you have to be committed to own a ducati look at all the crap the owners cop, not to mention the extra expense buying and running one, let alone repairing it if something goes wrong.
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

Thanks for the giggle. If you ever met my ex, you'd know why.

Why get the girls version of either bike, why not the one for real men? (I think I just answered that question)

ask the guy whether he had ridden one,

people have this stupid mind set of "oh it's a ducati it must be nice", kinda the same thing old men have with porsches.

Buy whatever you feel comfortable with if you are going to ride it. If you are buying a bike to put it in a glass case then both bikes are probably not the best choice.

Yer I know, I'm still taking the horse antibiotics.....and the 750 and 848 have smaller arses.
