That's great (Cool Story Sis, etc.). Why the need for a new thread?

Get a camera that ain't from the 1950's....
Our Father, Who art at Phillip Island, Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done
In the backroads as it is on the freeway
Give us this day our high-octane premium fuel
        And forgive us our lanesplitting
As we forgive the four wheel drives, the volvos and the taxis
And lead us not into gravel corners
But deliver us from hand-held radars
For thine is thy leather, thy denim, thy Gore-Tex and thy Kevlar

And do a wheelie that actually lifts the front more than 18 inches off the ground.

Back on track for the groove of the thred
I have sort of wanted to try the drags just for shits and giggles
My one concern is the grip level of the track and varyations within.
From someone who rides there, how diferant from the street is it ???

There is SHIT LOADS !!! of grip at the strip
It's better to be thought stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.
