  • Picked up my new 2011 cbr250 today :)

    G'day peeps

Too excited not to post this awesome bike to ride, can only compare it to a scorpion though. I'm itching to take it out for a spin but I'm on my L's so would love it if someone has time to shadow me anytime in the joondalup area- can do today or tomorrow??? (i work away so am off all day). I know theres some haters out there of the bike but i think it's great for an entry level bike and will do the job for the next year or so

Sat on one at Rick Gill today... height difference is huge! I'm *very* short, can almost flat foot on my old cbr, could barely tippy toe on one foot on the new cbr. It's taller than the ninja 250... guess that's a good thing for tall people? Not for me anyway
I came here to drink milk and kick arse... And I'm all out of milk

I think with a tail tidy, new exhaust and some clip on bars it would look heaps better. Not sure if clip in bars would fit with that fairing though. Anyway enjoy to purchase it only you that has to like it

Looks good. Nothing like a new bike to put a smile on your dial.

Screw the haters. I'd be stoked if I could have afforded something like this as my first bike! It's sporty, easy to maintain and BRAND NEW... and it's YOURS. That's the main thing :-)

Not necessarily a stupid question, why was it bought over other 250 options? Id assume he was asking for more information on the purchase decision rather than trying to hang shit on the guy.

Jump down his neck though, be my guest.
