they are all really much of a muchness dude, unless you go looking for a 4 cylinder 250 or a 2 stroke 250. Otherwise just pick your favourite brand and go with it. win.

Seriously potta - stick with something like a gpx250 or better still a VFR250. Don't buy new, get it second hand or you're just going to lose a shitload of $$$ when you sell it. You only have to ride it for a year, so suck it up like everyone else has to, enjoy it while you can & then go out & buy a 600.
