  • where do my feet go?

ok, serious question. it only just occurred to me that im doing it wrong. when im riding hard i put the ball of my foot on the end of the inside pedal and shift my weight onto that as i hang my knee onto the road.

    this isn't right yeah?

    No thats right

You want the balls of your feet to be on the pegs when riding except when changing gear obviously.

You want the balls of your feet on top of the pegs, with your heel angled inwards. What you don't want is the balls of your feet on the very end of the pegs, with the outside of your foot hanging lower than the peg as you lean, as this is obviously the first thing that will scrape.

You want your toes on the pegs not the heal when you are riding hard and shifting your weight!

Edit: Same answer as others just worded differently when people say ball of the foot i assume the heal!
