Could this be the ultimate fail ?
I dont think such a simple job could have been f#cked up any more.

License plate install going horribly wrong! - ProbeTalk.com Forums
It's better to be thought stupid than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.

A great contender for the ULTIMATE FAIL. Surely you would look twice at where you're drilling and then notice the big arse connectors and wires? Obviously a home trades person. Can we fix it Bob?

Speaking of which here is another contender:

Electrician wires up a home theatre. He gets onto the roof and removes 6 tiles to access the wall space and run the cables down. Bingo works first time great job.

That night it rains hard and during the evening a strange burning smell fills the room. Amp shuts down, never to turn on again. Plasma TV goes dark, the Blu-Rays pretty blue button lights start flickering and the foxtel units familiar hum stops.

A quick inspection of the components with the lights on reveals long brown streaking water marks from ceiling to floor and everything is wet.

Can you guess what part of the job the sparky forgot to complete?

              Electrical work $500
Wall paint and Ceiling repair $1000
              Home theatre components $8000
Look on the sparkies face when he was shown,
              PRICELESS

              EPIC FAIL.

              His insurance covered it.

this happned to me, someone installed a security system in my house and left a couple tiles off, due to the massive verandah out the back we couldnt see it untill it rained and the kitchen roof went to shit.
