  • 31st International Classic Motorcycle Show, Stafford (56k DIAFF)

So on Easter weekend I flew from Germany to the UK for the express purpose of going to this show (and ANZAC Day), arguably the biggest classic bike show in the UK and one of the biggest in Europe. For a couple days I wandered around and chatted with some great people, ate ridiculously fatty food and saw some mindblowingly beautiful bikes.

Here are all the photos, the password is 'Stafford', the photos are in vaguely reverse chronological order

    And some highlights:

I should post up the videos of the Wall of Death, gorgeous blond girl doing acrobatics on an early 20's Indian scout about a foot from my face at 60 kmh Unfortunately the camera died before the good stuff started.

That it is - it was brilliant, luckily the camera doesn't show the stream of man-fluids running down my leg. The Cafe Racer was surprisingly very ergonomic, I sat on the normal roadsters as well but somehow the Racer seemed like the 'true' Norton to get. Unfortunately we're still having ADR setbacks getting them into Oz, talking to the salesmen they said Australia was one of the biggest markets for Nortons.

I hope they get the ADR's sorted cos I want one.

Some pretty choice bikes there, must have been like a punter with a pocket full of change in a brothel, not enough cash to purchase any goodies but plenty to drool over.

We had a few Dominators in the family in the old days.

Nothing like a pommy bike show to bring out the wierd and wonderful
