I find them flat to ride not exciting. For that price id go an R1.

          Sorry...should have been more specific.
Basically...any known faults...things to look out for at the age its at
The amount of kms was a little higher than i would have liked so how much on average would i get out of it.
If anyone has ridden 1 a general overview of how it goes would be helpful..

Thanks for the input...was the riding style as hard on the wrists as a r1

A friend has one that has done just shy of 130,000km and is still going strong.

As usual it depends how it is treated, but considering these are big squishy ocean liners of sportsbikes, the last owner probably didn't thrash the living shit out of it.

Would make a pretty handy commuter.

Nah, it won't be too heavy.
It'll be a barge in comparison to today's bikes, but you'll be able to handle it easily.

I think you should spend a little more and buy my bike especially as its the lightest litre around ...

                            I've owned two 'aces.
Capable bike, well ridden it can hold it's own with all-comers.
18.5km/l economy, throttle wheelies at will, stable fast machine that won't buck and weave like a pushed R1 will on those fast B-roads.
270km/h top speed... all very understated.

                            Early examples did burn oil.
Buy it. I'll ride it for you.

                            S.
Chuck Norris is 1/8th Cherokee. This has nothing to do with ancestry, the man ate a fucking Indian.
