if the major is at 48000. I'm sure getting the major done 1000km wont harm it if you're that concerned...

When's the major service on these?
I know the R1 gets a major at 40K, if yours isn't far off, just wait and get it all done at once.
Might pay to change the oil just for your piece of mind.
If you want a bit of extra squirt, go one tooth down on your front sprocket when you get them changed (sorry, don't know the standard tooth count on these so can't recommend a sprocket size for you).

As some may be aware ive had the 01 yzf 1000 thunderace for a week now..
AND LOVING IT !!!
The dealer after telling me it was workshop tested came back 3 days later with.
Youll need a new chain and sprockets !!!grrrrrr

Anyways....to get to the actual point..^_^

At 47000 even tho its not quite due for a major service would it be wise to get all the fluids done.
She also seems to be a little off when trying to start when cold...possible tune up.?
