Ordered my steering damper..

So I order my ضhlins steering damper this morning, ended up getting it from Harris Performance in the UK as prices in Australia are a joke. Just want to say that the guys are Harris are absolutely fantastic to deal with, so I know where I'll be getting my import bits from in future...

Should be here in 3-5 days, then it's a matter of waiting 10 weeks to get home and ride the bike. 8)

He got it for $AUS ~500 vs. ~$1,000 from suppliers out here.

Not a bad little saving.

And yeah, the saving is what Chris said.. after shipping it'll probably cost me just under $550 with the mounting kit as well. Not bad, seeing as Frasers wanted $1095...

Its good to hear you got that Ohlins damper as it will make a big difference ! but I think some more fine tuning in the suspension setting will provide the performance your looking for ..

Well my damper arrived this morning, just have to make a quick call to my man at DHL to "speed up" the customs process...

Finally got the delivery at my office this morning...

Ended up costing a good deal less than $500. Even got two mounting kits with it! Official Ohlins one & a polished Harris one. Plus stickers. 8)

Giant "middle finger" to Australian dealers & re-sellers of Ohlins gear...
