  • Show us your chicken strips!

Bored at work and was surprised to see no chicken strip thread (even after searching).

Cheating as its a track bike (my bunky has bigger strips then most cruisers).

Heres one i found on another forum, SE R1.

    Post away!

That's why I do trackdays, keep a little melted rubber on your tyre edges and people suddenly think you're Rossi/Stoner etc.

In reality using supercorsas on the road means I'm never using all of the tyre as they're designed for much more lean angle than I get on the road.

Love seeing the michelin man get decapitated though.

Not quite decapitating him yet - still getting used to being back on the bike! Giving him a haircut though ^_^

            Hmmm... rims need a clean.

There's this really nice stuff for cleaning rims I grabbed from Supacheap, spray on, wait a couple of minutes, wipe off. This job is made all the more awesome with my rear stand. Last time I cleaned them I had to spray, wipe, move the bike, rinse, repeat.

Is there anything to put on rims which keeps the shit off?

I use 3M wax and grease remover, it's pretty good for cutting through the grime and shit that gets flung onto them, then a little plexus on a cloth and it keeps it nice and shiny.

I'll put up a pic of my rears to keep this thread on track when I go out to the bike next.

Car, not a bike. Actually, a taxi, after playing around at an advanced drive day a few weeks ago:

One owner. Only driven gently on Sundays. Sold to best offer. First to see will buy. Reward offered for safe return. Coming soon to a cinema near you. Available for a limited time only.

My waterbed broke this morning. Oh, I don't have a waterbed. Bugger.

I had some nice ones on a motard with a 160 fitted to a 4.25" rim. The same tyre on a 5.00" rim scuffed right to the edges.

The really fucking telling part of that comment is that I have white rims under that brake dust :o
