  • Anybody know a good curse breaker?

I FINALLY got my baby running this afternoon! After fiddling with the oil and coolant levels to make sure I got them right i took off down the road to make sure the bike was rideable and not going to break apart or do something bad while the dealer was test-riding it. Got with 100m of my place and what should happen? A nasty screw pops up and goes right into my rear tyre! Just before I was going to go to the dealer! After riding off and getting a pilot power put on, time ran out and i couldn't make it to the dealer...8 mins too late.

    Cursed Suzuki incidents:

    1. Stripped thread out of sump plug hole - heli-coil repair.
    2. Forgot to put oil filler cap back on after topping it up. Sprayed oil all over my right leg and bike (negligible rear brakes).
    3. Clean bike of oil and JUST before i'm off to take it for a ride the neighbour backs into it with her car knocking it over.
    4. On ride=see a big log on blind corner. Go back to pick it and bike rolls off stand and smashes into a road girder. No mirror, wndscreen and broken h/light fairing.
    5. 2 weeks after getting bike back on road after girder incident I run off road and nick a boulder which smashes hole in engine block.
    6. Split the o-ring on water-pump case after install and new o-ring has to be back-ordered for 1month.
    7. Put screw thru rear tyre on maiden voyage after boulder incident.

I hope I even get to the dealer to trade it!!!

Anyone else have any bad luck stories they want to share?

After a couple of minor incidents gixxer_dude could not understand why the amount of money he got for his old bike was so low.....

After all the damage was only cosmetic, and would have easily been buffed out....

Soundsl ike you are having a hell time dude.
Feed 'em to the pigs, Errol....

Yeah - not like that tho' - sounds like a nightmare!

I had a shit week moving into my current house where at least three things would go wrong a day for 7 days - just about drove me over the edge

Hope you get it sorted out and you manage to get rid of it before it 'gets rid of' you
I can't think what more you could possibly need to know... except maybe this:
