Excuse my ignorance, but, I was looking at a Dainese leather jacket at Causeway Yamaha on the weekend, picked up a size 54 for the Mako leather, and didnt bother to check if it is Euro or UK sizing.

    Can anybody shed some light?

Would it be Euro or UK?

      54 is Euro = 44 USA.
      56 " = 46 USA

      Don't know about UK?

I think you mean Euro or US

        54 Euro is a 44 US

        54 US would be XXXXXL

54 Euro would just be large

          Aaah, never thought of calling.

I called and spoke to Patrick, who I think was trying to say "he wasn't too sure."
And then when he was trying to say "he wasnt too sure", it seemed like someone picked up another phone and pressed the "speed dial".
By the time the speed dial ended, he hung up.

No dramas, I think I will just go in and have another look. Need to pick up a black tinted visor from Causeway Honda this week anyways.

I actually want to buy it from the net, but its becoming increasingly hard to find it at a "decent" price.

Go in and ask to see Brad @ Causeway Yamaha.... tell him I sent ya .... he'll sort ya.

Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast

Some say he only showers on even days of the week

Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine

All we know is he's Hewie.

              Try these:

              http://www.onyerbike.net/dainese_leatherj.php
              http://www.motorace.com/sizing.htm

Dainese sizes are: MAKO size 54 = UK 44

Answer to your question: it would be EURO. All Dainese is in this sizing. I have a Trax jacket in 42, which is UK 10 (ladies).

                  Excellent! Thanks for that.
The cheapest I have seen that jacket for is from http://www.mcaleicester.co.uk
They are currently having a sale. This is the email I received from that website yesterday:

"Many thanks for your enquiry. We are pleased to quote the following for you:-
The sale will be on until we have cleared the stock on it this a permanent price now @ £199.00 from £299.99 and will not be increased"

"Postage and packing would be Datapost (2-3 working days approx) @ £80 "

Just in case anybody was looking to purchase the same jacket.

                      279 pound @ AUD 2.354

656.766 AUD .. is that comparable to the cost in Perth ?

Well it was $899 @ Causeway Yamaha. A saving of $243 approx.

I am still weighing up the option of getting this Mako jacket or going for AStars jackets.

Still thinking and looking around. Cant rush into these investments, especially since they cost so much.
