  • First bike service in Perth

hey guys, well the 600 is nearly due for the 12k service, ive had a search on the forum and found a few things..

one, does Derek Ball still do mobile services? also whats everyones opinion on his work?

and is there any other shops people have been to recently which have been good?

and last what would be the average price for this service?

    cheers

I bought my bike from Kim Britton and they lend me a bike when I drop mine of for a service. Go to the dealer u bought ur bike from (if u bought it from a dealer) and they should lend u a bike. I reckon about $350 at the most.

Give Kamahl a call ... awesome mechanic .. mobile service .. tell him your from PSB and he'll look after you

      Kamahl
      K-TEC Mobile Mechanics
      0415 746 665

Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast

Some say he only showers on even days of the week

Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine

All we know is he's Hewie.

Devilboy, yes he did - to my memory - and he knows his stuff.

The other place I would say for a Honda is Rick Gills

Cant exactly say im a big fan of rick gill's. I was told they tend to quote low and then charge more.

Got my head gasket replaced there and got a quote of $300-$350, ended up being $450.

My bikes use to be serviced by kamahl when he was at causeway honda. He doesnt overcharge and changes only wants needs to be changed. He does the job very well.

Definately keep this post in mind when the bike needs another service.
