  • so what is a fork rebuild worth?

    its my leaky forks ya'll.
i took em off, took em apart, i couldnt do one bit because i need a funky once off tool tool to get some allen key out, i hand em over to a machanic with my fork oil and seals, and he charges $100 for it,

and i have no idea if im getting ripped off. is this guy is for real? am i just some naive noob? is there such a thing as a trustworthy mechanic?

WHY DO CRAPPY SEAL TOOLS COST $900??!?!?

whats the deal here wise old men?

around $150 is the norm, that includes removal labour, parts and oil :!:
depending where you live i would recomend 5star yamaha freo, causway honda vic park and northside kawasaki ozzy park, ive only met the boys from northside personaly and got some work done just recently, and i was impressed with how they operate
if youve given it to a backyardy ied say your getting ripped
wat do ya do, next time check these shops out, im sure you will find one you like
causeway and northside are suporters of PSB so they will be more than happy to point you in the right direction

Just had my fork seals done on Friday, cost around $150 thats seals oil and labour.

In general most bikes shop will be around $20 within each other prices.
