anybody know if the VF400 rider is OK?

Someone crashed a 1980's Honda VF400 (looked like it had been in v. good condition) on Whatley cresent in Maylands earlier this week. I'm guessing he hit a car that pulled out in front of him (bent front forks). I didn't hear anything in the news but it looked bad. Anyone know whether the rider is OK?
