  • "WARN-A-BROTHER"

The "TAP YOUR HELMET and "WARN-A-BROTHER" if you see the local constabulary is a good idea.

The only thing is that tapping a helmet has traditionally been used by motorcycle clubs worldwide to tell someone to switch on their headlamp or that their headlight is on high beam.

The signal to warn of police in the vicinity is normally to extend the index finger and thumb at 90 degrees to each other with other fingers tucked in to make a 'pistol' gesture ('bang, bang' - like cowboys and indians).

    My 2 cents worth.

Cant be noticed as easily from a distance, the tap your helmet is a large move that is hard to miss.

Only other prob is if you are wakeboarding..... you will probobly be taken home!

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

As Deej said other gestures can be difficult to see but tapping your helmet stands out like Nick in a straight bar

Yeah, as in "back to the beach, my back hurts". Either that or all the ski-boat drivers in the vicinity will think you're gonna drop your pillion off on the side of the road and do a sudden 90 degree turn (fellow aficionados of small block Chevys in small boats will understand).

I've seen a raiser index finger in a "whirlybird" motion used before too. We really need to standardise this, it could get embarassing
