  • how to contaact kawasaki australia

    Hi all
does anybody know who can you contact Kawasaki Australia. When I fill up my tank, my fuel gauge does not display full tank, it only displays 5 bars instead of 6. For a brief period of time it will display full tank and back to 5 bars
At my 1000k services I have reported this one to a dealer who acknowledge the fault and was organizing replacement part. Every since I have been waiting for replacement part which brings it to around 8 weeks

I have bought my bike at Causeway Kawasaki and have been ringing them about once every 2 weeks to see if part has arrived. As of this morning, nothing

Now I want to contact Kawasaki Australia directly and complain loudly about it

    Any help is appreciated

Facebook is your best bet. I did that and the dealer contacted me back with in 4 hrs.
Going fast is not a problem, it's the sudden stopping that hurts a lot...

Tried that and there are no phone numbers to call. it wants you to go through a dealer.

Only calling them once every two weeks? There's your mistake! Go in person if you can, it's much harder to ignore someone stood in front of you.

Parts through dealerships certainly can take time, especially if they are out of stock in Australia and have to get them shipped from Japan. I've experienced this before too.

Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question, are you sure your filing the tank fully?

If I just put the nozzle in mine as far as it will go I can fill the tank and the bike will tell me 1 bar short of full. If I lift the nozzle and fill it to about its limit, then I get all bars lit up.

^ yeah, you can't actually insert the nozzle into a bike tank and expect to fill it. typically I fill until fuel is just level with the internal latch for the tank cap.
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

I make sure I take nozzle out and keep filling up until I have petrol above metal line in the tank
You cannot tell me that is not filling up

Wasn't meant in offence, having seen a friend fill his diesel with premium unleaded "because it's cleaner for the environment, isn't it?" I just thought I'd ask.

can anyone think of a less useful light to have on the dash, other than one that says " you could put an extra $1.50 worth of petrol in here" ?

its the one that say " um, kinda running low now" that you should be worried about.

( maybe im jealous, I gotta open the cap and have a look when I forget to reset the trip meter )
Note: this may not be the universe where the above is relevant.
