  • Can anyone recognise this bike?

My uncle's (I think uncle) bike in the US. Just wondering what he has. I'm guessing a Harley Dyna Switchback
    Thanks

Looking more like an Electra glide, possibly a road king or at a stretch maybe a softail classic or heritage....

Not too many bagger or dresser dynas due to the external suspension.
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

        Maybe a Street-Glide?

On second look, maybe not. Too much chrome.

            Harley Davidson Motorcycle Identification Guide:

Is it a really old photo? Flathead

Is it in a museum? Knucklehead

Is it ridden by an old bloke scarred by the passage of many, many, very difficult years? Panhead

Is it broken and sitting unrepentant in a puddle of its own oil? Shovelhead

Is it ridden by a bearded, grizzled, mean looking type who may or may not be a club member? Evo

Is it ridden by an accountant? Twin cam

Is it ridden by an American troll? 1200 Sportster

            The rest is unnecessary detail.

I do believe it's identical to this:

2012 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited (FLHTK)

Man, I have just given myself an education on Harley tourers - namely that they make minor trim changes every year and then call it a "new" model. Talk about spot the fuckin difference!

Edit: and everything you ever wanted to know about it...

2012 Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited Review

              ...but were afraid to ask.

It didn't look that far on the map...

Perfect, thanks! I noticed while looking myself that so many are similar and then you spot that one minor change and it's not the right model.

                  That is the Harley-Davidson Fatnslow.

That doesn't really narrow it down much beyond "it's a Harley".
