Ever changed the oil on a Guzzi LM? The filter is inside the sump. That’s right you have to pull the fucking sump off to get to it. Mario tells me he had a bloke came in to buy some oil one day. When he asked him if he wanted a filter as well he said “ nah mate - my bike hasn’t got one..”

        Are we there yet?
Can't be too long now, this is probably another pre-production prototype.

Any news on the release of this bike? I'd be super keen for a demo.

You're not alone there, for some the hype is killing it.

I thought you would have got it by now. What's the ETA on it?
There's little to no news about the FTR 1200 and I'm not the only one who's getting pissed off about it.
            More questions than answers...
Are they sourcing some Unobtainium for the finishing touches?
            Is there a software issue?
Is Polaris being overly conservative about putting a "good" product out?
Why is a review video not being released for another month or so?
Will I follow on and buy the bike?
Did they announce the "imminent" production of the FTR 1200 too early?
Is Indian going to be a good marque to buy?
Should I sell the R3 and just keep the GT?

The reviews on the FTR Facebook page are pretty good. The seat gets hot which could be nasty here. Idling is a bit suss but the first service and software update is supposed to fix that. I can't find any news about when they are going to show up in Perth.

Not the FTR in the vid but a custom scout. Veering here a bit but has anyone had some experience riding the scout or with Indian bikes in general? Went and had a look yesterday and never thought I would like a cruiser or think about owning one but I reckon I could be persuaded pretty easily.
