  • Go the fireworks!!

Well...my last Australia Day in Perth was an excellent way to (almost) end my time in WA. The fireworks were great and parking was a breeze. We ended up getting dropped in South Perth and staying at a friends house having drinks before heading down to the foreshore.

Walking back to Maccas was funny co's I nearly got ran over by a dozen cars by gawking at all the nice sportsbikes going past

Saw a NICE paint scheme on an R1 with plates 'BLADE' too! 8)

How did everyone else spend Oz Day?

Watched from next to the Bell Tower... Nice little spot - pitty about the BIG ASS boat someone parked in the way... :x Couldn't see most of the stuff on the water, but the rest was great - oh and I love being on a bike in heavy traffic... 8)

    Traffic??...

Haha, yeah...the drive home consisted of me piping up every time I saw a bike and saying how much easier it would be on my bike I dont think I made any friends doing that

Man i was on the south shore close to burswood area. more like near Macas. Man this year really sucked. Besides the fact that my other half said that we had to take my old lady with(which meant taking the car) and having to find parking, well it really went bad. my car almost overheated twice. i had to switch her off twice or else i would of had it. Got a Barina and those cars don't handle traffic that well.
I was in my car and going look there goes another bike and another and yet again another. by the end of the trip my other half just gave in and said okay next year it will be on the bike. Now she says that..... GRRRRR

Saw two blades come past and it was heart thumping.... Man i would like to know how many CBR954 owners there are in Perth. They are great bikes, and i've been smiling from ear to ear since i got it.

Hope you all had a better day than i.

Seeing as am desperate and bikeless at the moment, i also had to take out the old Ford falcoon... What a bitch that was at the foreshore.

I was the same, every bike that went past i couldnt help but make some comment about how much easier life on the bike is... Man it hurts being without your baby....

          Fireworks werent to bad though.

Yep, fireworks were good. But I made a bet for a Big Mac with a friend that we'd see some home-made fireworks go off somewhere...but I lost. Oh well, guess I'll have to bring some home with me

The fireworks were okay. but the first year i was in Aussie, now that was the best fireworks i had seen. there were always fireworks going off. good colour scheme and well no breaks at all. maybe it all had to do with the fact that i was near mill point south shore. but leaving was and always has been the pain in the butt. getting home..
                can't have everything.

I went last year on tha Busa , great fun leaving but always in the back of your mind when you cant see it....

Still it took about 20 mins in a few spots that i shut her off cause the traffic was that thick , no lane splitting or foot path surfing.

                      It was great though
go back in just to piss of the cars & yeah you can see the guys that ride but the girls ( mine would have killed me if i tried to rtake a car ) all pointing & lips quivering like they are about to cry ...cause they got a yapping wife & kids screaming ARE WE THERE YET ???

now Ido the pointing cause i aint got a bike.

                      HMMM KArma
