  • is it enough???

suzuki have recently announced a special deal on the gixxer 1000. will it be enough to steal some sales away from the cbr, r1, zx-10? i recently read a direct test between the gixxer and a new zx-10r. its not until the upper revs that the kwaka makes any more power. the gixxer pastes it in top gear roll ons...should be interesting...

I reckon it'll be enough to make people who wanted a GSXR in the first place stay with getting one instead of going one of the other new bikes, but I don't think it'll be enough to make someone who wants a new R1, ZX or CBR go over to Suzuki instead.

Really? I thought you would've gone the CBR1000. When you selling the SP-1, I know someone who's looking for a V-Twin.

Not to keen on new colours, do like the bike though, should be very effective like the rest. Well depends on whether I can get what I want. Will probably wait another few months.

The bike shops (Honda) are getting alot of poor feed back over there colour range for the new CBR1000 Blades, you will probably find they will have ideas and painters available to customize the paint work to your liking 8)

Was talking to Jason down at Prestige today and he was saying that will be coming up with some different colours options which sounded pretty good, will have to wait and see.

But it still has that poxy two tone look  I would buy the black one and paint the bottom half black, then stick the silver Honda wing on the sides (like my race bike), now that would look shit hot

I reckon that GSX-R 1000 looks horrible in those colours. And umm, why is it white? The championship-winning bikes last year were black, not white! They looked almost like a stock bike but with sponsors' stickers...

But, then, I reckon the tri-colour CBR1000RR looks good, so my taste is a little "different".

Or the Red top half and Black bottom half 2 tone....
