Heard on the radio tonight something about bikes being banned on the road because they're too fast?!?! :shock: Was going to be on channel 7 news tonight. Did anyone catch the story?

Yeah dude I saw it, typical Today Tonight crock of shit.

They showed mainly eastern states footage of people doing wheelies and speeding, then interviewed this guy who lost his licence.

They claimed that there were calls to have motorbikes banned coz they are too fast, but did not say who from and did not quantify the claim.

A complete and utter load of shit IMHO.

Just finished whatching it. What a load of crud. The "only" footage they showed of actual motorcycls on the street were from ppl's handycams of the boys doing mono's n high speed runs. Plus the footage of one guy running from the blue n reds.

The usual Today Tonight crap shock-horror story. That progamme's getting to be like a really bad accident, you know you shouldn't watch, but you can't help it Who dreams up the crap they put on there?

The same old footage of a couple of guys doing monos and giving the cameras the finger, trying to say we're all like that.........ahem. (Anyway, i'm a good boy, breaking my brand new bike in nice and gently officer! :shock: )

As some guy said at the end - it's not the bike it's the rider that determines the speed. (Guns don't kill - people do, etc etc).

Then again it's only a matter of time before TT does a story on Dihydrogenmonoxide (DHMO) and tries to ban this chemical compund found in everything from cancerous tumours to acid rain, is a major part of most poisons, kills thousands of people every year and is so addictive that as little as three days withdrawal can lead to nausea, cramping, even death!
