  • Question about seasonal selling

Do you think the season makes an impact on your selling price as there is slighty more demand for bikes in the summer?

I got my license mid-winter which mean ill be selling the 250 mid-winter. But would contemplate selling now-ish if it helps price wise.

Yeah some fools think so..... so buy a bike for summer then sell it for winter, get another one again next spring/summer....

I think fuk it... Buy a bike cause i want that bike then keep it till another one takes my fancy ...

I ride all through winter fuk rain it's only water.....

After talking to alot of the sales people around Perth I would say it does have a impact on the sale price of your bike.

During summer ppl are more willing to part with a bit more cash to get out and about.

Well it seems that way anyway.
Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast

Some say he only showers on even days of the week

Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine

All we know is he's Hewie.

Its pretty true. Think of a Suzuki Sierra or similar soft top car. People will pay more for it leading up to and during the warmer summer weather as they think they will take the top off all the time and be COOL and look the bomb in it!!

Reality is that the same people will try and sell them in winter coz not only do the fuckers leak, but they are damm cold to drive around in. And if you are a prospective buyer, some would say that you are silly not to use those sorts of things to your advantage because they (the seller) are more likely to come down in price in those 'off' times when the car really does not suit the needs with which they bought it for.

Same for bikes. Soo many people don't like riding in the wet so bike gets stored away till the sun comes out again. In some cases that is a fair bit of money that is sitting not be used. Geee....I like your K3 Gixxer life size paper weight!!

The dealerships have targets too which are no doubt cyclical and seasonal but they need money coming in to survive so MAYBE, winter is a good time to buy for us!!

My thoughts anyways!! 2cents deposited **chachink**
