if someone can help me with transferring NTSC Hi-8 video footage to the computer, i would be bloody grateful....... then i can put this and about another about nine hours of video that i want on the computer. anybody know anything that would help?????

Anyone with a 'video in' capable video card in their computer, like most TV cards, could capture it if you connect the camcorder video out to it. I have one and would be happy to do it if you're not in a hurry and don't mind low quality, but I'm sure others could do a better job.
