  • You happy now? stop bugging me

ok ok this is to satisfy all the PM's and comments about my bike that has been off the road for some time now, some people wont let up.....ill give in to the mass and reveal a little on the upcoming beast... you guys get to see more then anyone else has so far..

ok... you remember how she started as Shox's old fireblade? she used to be in prime condition...beautiful infact.....untill he bounced her down the road a few times..... then spun the bearing in the motor

    before...

aannyyyway...well when i made with the cash and bought her home from causeway honda where she was...she looked like this...

after having the bike a little while.... discussing cost's etc etc i realised what i wanted... a stunter. something that wouldnt mind to much to be bounced around..something i didnt have to worry about cracking fairing.. something nimble... something i could bounce over curbs trying to flee from the police (not that i would do such a thing ) then i found THIS pic on a fav aus website... and thought..thats IT!! thats what i want... so i started to model my bike off it...

ok...down she came....pulled apart, cleaned etc, dumped the bits i didnt need....sent the damged parts away to be fixed and was left with this for a short while

finally i found myself a nice example of an 98 R1 fibreglass rear racing seat setup.... i parted with the $ and it came home with me...after minor mods to the standard CBR subframe...the new tail basically just slid on...i was impressed

now... all streetfighters (real streetfighters) share a common feature..... their handlebars are mostly upright, makes wheelies much easier and rides more comfy..so i purchased some new Renthal motorcross handlebars and modified my triple clamp to accept handlebar clamps off a 96 Yamaha YZ125..now shes loooking the part 8)

Ive bought myself an Ohlins steering damper for the beast, and ive got to get a set of custom brackets made up for her as they never made standard items...heres me halfway thro the fitting process

there we go...thats the last of the recent pics i have.... i have just finished polishing the back wheel...painted the centre black, just waiting on rubber for it now, next week the subframe is being braced, the R1 tail is having mount points glassed onto it to secure it in place, the damper brackets are being fabricated and some custom exhaust brackets are being made..

now ive had some people ask me what the fuck kinda exhaust am i making for her... well yer one of the first to hear it... im gunna purchase a full Yoshi RS3 race system off a TLR1000. im using the standard headers from the blade (however their being cut before the 4-1 join) so she goes from 4 into a custom 2 system...then feeding down under the engine... and up again to the high mounted Yoshi pipes sitting just below the R1 ductail, im hoping this will give me a very nice note and just be very aesthetic. I have a few other bits and peices ive bought from ebay to use too...but untill they get here and i decide what i wanna do..that stuff will remain hush hush

for those that keep asking about the engine... i havent been looking for a replacement at all... ive been too busy sorting out the rest of the bike, once im close to finishing....ill sort out an engine for her... as i dont want an engine to be sitting in my shed for 4 months while i finish the bikes body work/mods off, as soon as an engine comes my way you'll all be the first to know im hoping to be on the road before Nov this year... yay, summer! im not in a huge hurry...as im not a fan of riding in the rain...and i have other finnacial commitments also...

anymore questions guys? just reply... shoot... if ive forgotten something let me know.... also feedback would be greatly appreciated...positive or negative.... in the end it would help...god knows id like to know if im about to fuck something up... or if u have anything i might be interesting in/or knowing... feel free to PM me or post it... aiighty... PEACE

DON'T YOU THINK THOUGH, AFTER SPENDING POTENTIALLY THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON THE BIKE, YOU WILL BE AFRAID TO BOUNCE IT DOWN THE ROAD....DON'T GET ME WRONG IT WILL LOOK GOOD BUT I THINK IF YOU WANT TO STUNT IT YOU MAY ASWELL STOP SPENDING GOOD MONEY, COS YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO WRECK IT....ALL THOSE "REAL STREETFIGHTERS" YOU SEE ONLY APPEAR IN PAINT SHOWS N STUFF, NOT IN STUNT SHOWS. STUNT SHOWS ARE FOR BUNKY, COMPLETELY DESTROYED MOTORCYCLES WHICH YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT....MY 2c

ANYWAY ALL THE BEST WITH THE PROJECT.

SCRAP YARDS MAY WELL BE EXPENSIVE DUE TO THE SMALL NUMBER OF THEM IN PERTH, BUT STILL ARE CHEAPER THAN NEW PARTS................

                    Fully siiiik MAAAATE!

I reckon a TZR engine would fit beautifully in that lil beast Cadderus!
