sent some emails to the pitstop bookshop. this is the latest i've heard...

      Hello Jarrid

      Thanks for your e-mails.
There is a guy in Australia trying to get rights on it at the moment, so
we are awaiting more news from him. I believe you can order it direct
from the MotoGP people, but I don't have any firm details on it at the
moment sorry! Best I can suggest is to "watch this space" I suppose...

      Regards

      Andrew

I had a look for it on Kazaa but didn't find it.

But I got this email on it today.

(BTW: I heard about this in March, posted, and was told it was crap.)

FASTER IN CINEMAS ACROSS THE USA + INTERNATIONAL NEWS

USA NEWS FROM SLAMDANCE HQ: -

Slamdance goes On The Road across the USA with Mark Neale's critically
acclaimed MotoGP documentary FASTER beginning September 2, 2004.

Following several successful local screenings FASTER has been pushed up the
distribution rankings to compete on the front line with the big boy Studio
releases. Not bad for a 100% independently made picture! Plus, the film has
been transferred to 35mm film in Dolby® 5.1 digital sound!

You can see when and where FASTER is going to play by opening
            the attached screening location pdf

            or go to

            http://www.slamdance.com/distribution/faster.asp

You can help us to promote the movie: we indies don't have the big print and
advertising budgets of the Hollywood studios so your word is much
appreciated and very important to us. Also, if you would like to receive
posters and/or postcards to distribute to your friends and customers please
do not hesitate to let Kate at Slamdance know by e-mail. Her address is

            [email protected]

            All the best,

            The Faster & Slamdance Team

            FASTER: INTERNATIONAL NEWS

We will have exact release dates soon. The movie will definitely be
available in the UK in the autumn, and we will have news on its release in
Japan, Australia and other European countries within the next month. We'll
let you know as soon as we get word.

Thanks for your patience and support!

              Faster

Saw this on Ebay...a bit expensive I reckon considering it is selling for US$24.95 (US only).

Hope they get their act together and bring it out here soon!
