    Hey guys,

Can I have some comments about the above. What's it like? Whats one worth? For instance have seen one and wondering what someone else would pay for one?
It has a little over 19000km's, so not much for a 7 year old bike.
Dosnt look like its been binned or dropped. New tyres and pipe.

    Thanks to all

i take it this is the bike? (from Autotrader):

"SUZUKI GSXR600 1997, blue & white, 6mths lic, new tyres, 20,000kms, Yoshi pipe, hardly ridden, immac cond, $8,000. PH 0408920252.. "

i personally love bikesales.com.au - they don't often have WA bikes, but it gives good pics and gives you an idea on average prices for the bikes.

    here's a few:

    http://www.bikesales.com.au/pls/bikesales/...6&model_id=1170

    http://www.bikesales.com.au/pls/bikesales/...6&model_id=1170

    http://www.bikesales.com.au/pls/bikesales/...6&model_id=1170

they seem to average $6500-7000 for ones with around 45-55,000kms, so $8000ono for one with only 20,000kms would seem to be a good deal.

or to see what the shops are selling them for: http://bikepoint.ninemsn.com.au/

I found their accelleration to be quite ordinary. However the machine I was riding may have been defective but it didnt seem to be.

The first of the SRAD bikes are nice and light (not as light as the new ones of course) and certainly flickable thru the turns. Injection didnt come until late 98 I think???

I've owned one for a couple of years....drop 2 teeth on the front, gave the acceleration a bit of an umppfffhhhhh....

I love the bike, and for a first bike it was great.

binned it a couple of times and the bike holds up to it.

how mucyh is the bike going for? can't be bothered looking at the links.
...and on the seventh day God said "Let there be light!", and Chuck Norris said "say please!"
