Just got my SMX3 boots Wednesday!

Just curious, shouldn't you ask yourself that before you purchase the boots??? Anyways you made the right choice. I am thinking of purchasing them also. How much did you pick it up for and from where???

Alpinestars SMX3 boots, black. The newest version of the standard SMX boot. These are great all around boots with lots of features. Innovative air vents in the shin and forefoot provide unmatched levels of rider comfort. Vents are covered with a specially designed mesh with a waterproof membrane. its all in the name :roll: alpinestars! alpinestars.the crap thing about them is they dont have a steel or ally toe slider.i did 1 race and wore through almost to my toe.im sure there awesome for road use but as a track boot i think not unless you keep your feet right up which is no good to me :?

Crash tested mine at 240km/hr. Walked away nil injuries and boots fine to keep on racing with.

Toe sliders wearing out? Pick ya feet up! (Leroy excluded - leg shakes)

how hard is it to get big boots? I mean, i have trouble finding a good pair of cross trainers in my size (not usually much of a range in the bigger sizes) i'm a 15 in shoes, so thats probably about a 13 in boots i would think.
I'd love a set of alpinestars, but, not in the budget! lol

I have the same problem with shoes having small feet. But these boots fit amazingly well. As soon as they stretch and loosen up a bit!

I can change gears now at least. Riding in boots was a bit new to me. Now just gotta use those sliders

i wear SMX-plus boots. farkin awesome. binned it on the track and on the road and my feet n ankles are still breakless.
