burnt out scooter

hey guys
went into town on saturday (bunbury) was an accident on the bypass near the big round about.
only one scooter involed so i chucked on the police scanner and they said it was a hire scooter had been in some sort of collision caught fire but there was no rider or other car at the scene.
all they found was a part of a qld drivers licsense.
anyone know what happened.

fuel pisses outa those things pretty easy if its been on its side so not suprised it caught on fire.

just heard that the dude was hit from behind by a car.
car took of then returned later.
dude ended up with alot of broken bones

Yeah i've riden those scoot freo hire scooters for a work function before. (no really it was a work function I swear!)

Heaps of fun, especially maxing out a 55km/h!
