Horrifically, (and occasionally amusingly) I've seen that scenario play out live several times. The best part is when they go back to the shop to see if they can exchange it, like when you'd drop your drink at the movies.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... - it's not the tyres that made him crash.

In this case, he crashed because he tried to show off and opened the throttle a bit too suddenly on a bike probably 5 times more powerful than anything he had ridden before.

It really wears thin when people blame the bike for an accident caused by their own stupidity.

Sure it is his own stupidity...

But put a hundred kays on the tyres and it wouldn't have been an issue...
