Bad luck mate, heal up fast.

Still riding in the dirt then Jim :p Nice to finally meet everyone today, even though you were begging for lock wire. Bad luck on the off. Hope the bike is still in alright condition, especially after all the work to get it to the track day

just got back from the hospital - they were doing xrays when mags and I left. Not sure if it's a break or a bad dislocation yet. Apart from that he was slightly concussed, but is otherwise in fine health.

hmm, collarbones take how long to heal?

Maybe pay that fine straightaway, do the 3 months while cbone is broken

            Presto! collarbone fixed, time served.

            Heal Quick Jim!

mine took 4 weeks to be like new...

also not sure if it's broken yet. Sal will update us via sms.

The main thing is he's fine.

Was not a pretty thing to see coming around turn 1 first to notice a slightly broken blue&white bike at the side of the track and thinking "umm, that shouldn't be there..." then seeing a lifeless body lying face-down in the sand and realising it must be Desmo...

Glad to hear you a relatively OK, Jim, certainly gave us all a scare! Heal up well.
I can't think what more you could possibly need to know... except maybe this:

Doctors over quote to be on the safe side, also to stop you doing stupid shit while you are healing. It works sometimes

Hope it's nothing too bad Jim

“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa
