Hi gang.

Had LAZIK surgery this morning on both eyes to correct my short sightedness.

I'm not going to read posts tongiht but just want to let you all know, and by all acounts the surgery looks to have gone really well.

I look like I've copped and absolute pizzling with puffy eye lids and red eyes but I think it's going to be great.

I can just image you looking at the screen thru the 5 mil gap in the side of those poxy plastic eye patches.

melkor: Let me know how it goes! I'm keen as fook to get it done. I'm -4.5 in the left eye, -5.0 in the right.. which isn't so bad.

But glasses are pants, and contacts aint always practical.

I watched 'Minority Report' on DVD the night before the surgery! Bad idea. :shock:

yeah now I come to think of it the proceedure was kinda like a cross between minority report and clockwork orange.

I did ask for some Beethoven but they didn't have any

Well it's day one today. Had an check-up this morning.

I can now see better than 20/20 unaided and it only gets better from here apparently.

So all you "oh LAZIK is unsafe, you'll go blind" spoilers look me in the eye
