Hey guys im planning on heading down south a few times in the chrissie break. Does anyone know when double demerits are comming into play?

The period of Thursday 20 December 2007 to Sunday
6 January 2008 (inclusive).
As per Road Traffic Code 2000.
(2) For the purposes of this Code —
“holiday period” means —
(a) a 4 day period, comprising a public holiday specified,
or appointed under the power, in the Second Schedule
to the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 that falls
on a Friday or a Monday, together with —
(i) (where the public holiday is a Friday) the
Thursday before it, and the weekend
following it; or
(ii) (where the public holiday is a Monday) the
Friday before it, and the weekend before it;
and
(b) any period set out in the Table to this subregulation.
