Had an interesting turn of events this morning. I occasionally park in the underground car park in the Hyatt, mainly to get the bike out of the hot sun. This morning I ran into a couple of Wilson Parking blokes, who were just getting ready to put fines on all the bikes....
Apparently motorcycles are not allowed to park there at all any more, and that if they found any motorcycle there it was an instant $60 fine. Needless to say I complained rather loudly and they basically said "can't you read mate?"... I was furious and demanded them to show me where the signs were stating such bullshit. After they couldn't, they said I could park there today but if they saw my bike in there again they would put the fine on.
I don't know about the other couple of bikes that usually park where I do, a fairly new black R6 and a silverish/blue R1 (around a pillar), but if you get a fine today I'm sorry, I argued that none of the bikes should get a fine until they put the f%$*&ng signs up but they probaly just went and hid under a rock until I left... then came back and fined us all.
I'll be calling Wilson Parking this morning and will post what I find out..
