Yeah the "de-tuning" is something like 10hp down up top (still >100, which is plenty in the market it competes in) for an extra 3nm throughout the midrange and bigger balls down low.

Yeah, the guy that wrote the article seemed to think the only impotant numbers were peak output, there's so much more to it that he didn't even mention. Makes you wonder whether he even knows? I personally prefer the tune that naked bikes get to the 'sports' tune.
P.S. I too think the Striple is s.e.x. I didn't like it to begin with but it grew on me quiker than... well... I can only think of gross similes. But fast!
