  • IMPORTANT RIDE , NEED FEEDBACK ASAP

ok ! been having a chat with John Green and he's offered us (as in the perth extreme forum readers) a pretty good deal in reguards to his next ride day on the 2nd of Aug , if we can get 10 or more riders for the day then we can have the ride day for $125. If we get the same no. then you can do the braking and cornering course for $200 .
Just a bit of background info for those who have entered the forum late , Myself ,Deej and Dave did the last braking and cornering course , it was a fantastic day , well organised and run by experianced and helpful instructors, we all got a fuckin heap out of the day and by the end of the day we were pretty shattered ! John even let the boys out on the track at the end for a bit of an expression session down the front straight ! and i can't see why he wouldn't do it again. To attend the ride days you are meant to first do the B and C course , but if you can't scrape together the dollars then john is prepared to let you do the track day session at the above price , personaly i think the B and C course is a must !
John is someone who is really behind perth extreme and the perth streetbike riders , and he's also offered us an exclusive perthextreme track day in Nov. He runs more track days than anyone else in perth so it's a great chance to get it off the streets and onto the track !

OK WHAT WE NEED ! is people who are keen to do the track day on the 2nd of Aug , we need at least 10 people and there may be a limit to how many can go ! so i need to know asap who is keen ! the feedback we get now will decide if john is prepared to run a Perthextreme track day in Nov. if we don't get the numbers then there is no reason why he should help us out in Nov. Also i'd like to know who is keen for an exclusive PE track day .So it's up to us ! we've talked about track days and now we have someone who is prepared to help us out !
SAT the 2nd Aug , lets get out there and have fun and meet the team complete !!!

and if tha weather be shitty???

i would be reluctant to put my name down at this time of year because of the weather, if tha weather was fine and we could go hard all day then that'd be great but there isn't much hope that you have a chance of organising something and the day being perfect (and yes i hear some people say f*%$in fair weather rider, and I laugh at them).

But in saying that, I would definately be up fo rthe Nov bash. SUMMER!!!!

that and i may be movin house around there sometime...

keen to hear some feedback on this post...

Count me in rain, hail or snow!! ( fuck that no snow!) anyways I am in and the " b and c course tex talks about is the short way of sayng braking and cornering course.

the normal cost for the course is $295 so the price is great.

sorry people !! the B and C course is the braking and cornering course !! and it really is well worth while , one other thing is John Green will be running his 2 day advanced course in oct , and there is NO way you will be able to do this course unless you have first done the basic course , and the one on the 2nd will be the last chance to do the basic course !
Churchy i fully understand your concerns about the weather , i also have concerns about riding the track in the wet !! it's no use spending the money if you don't have fun , i don't have an answer for you , but rather than write the day off you could always wait until a few days before hand and check out the extended weather forecast , mind you the course may be fully booked and you might not be able to get in ! a risk you take ! but generally it's not a good way for john to run his buissness so you can understand why he wants numbers before the day ! and he is doing the right thing by us !! if the weather is good i rekon it'd be great to see all the NSX guys out there !

If you ride in the rain you need to train in the rain.

I booked in for 2/8 a while ago, rain/hail/shine me and my machine 'ill be there.

              ... ends virgin post

ok ok Im almost convinced to sign up for the aug 2 one, though just to clarify that the aug 2 day consists of the cornering and braking course and that it will cost $200 if the numbers are high enough? and being that its at Wanneroo race track will those of us who want to do the b & c course need to have draggin' jeans or leather pants to do it? I have neither and can only protect my skinny white legs with jeans (did i say protect?).

The day is in two parts if I remember it properly, first half B&C, ? 5 sessions each (1/2 tuts, 1/2 track). Then a ride day for the arvo. You need either leather, draggins, or 2 pairs of jeans, ankle boots and suitable jacket. I have the info brochure here somewhere that I coud scan in and post on my site if needed.

Okay for all you slow learners out there and those who don't speak texan, here it is the way I understand it......

the 2nd Aug day is a B and C course day ( braking and cornering ). But those who have done the course before can use the track aslo for $125. The two groups , those doing the course and those who have done it previousley alternate every half hour or so on the track. so you don't have to worry about some fast dude cutting you up when you are trying to learn by doing the course. Now if we get 10 people who sign up or commit for the day, wether they are doing the course or just for the ride day practice, he will discount the price.
The regular price for the course and ride day respectivley is.....$295 and $180. So the deal he is offering is great. Now if you have track day leathers wear them if not draggin jeans or two pairs of normal jeans will do. but you need boots that cover your ankle, R-Jays speed boots are a good example or some guys just had regular work boots. And the gortex style winter jackets are okay and leather gloves a must.

Sorry to drag on but hey.......if we get together for this then bring on November and the Perthextreme trackday. It is well worth it.

Tell me if this is wrong tex and I can edit out...hahaha

Info brochures for the 2/8 day are at

                            http://neverquit.netfirms.com/Aug2CourseBrochure.htm

Should clear up the "whats/whys/&wherefores" for you.

I guess it all applies except the cost which some of us paid in full already (god damn it).
