any other suzi riders have a problem with the crap paint that suzuki have used on their ankle gaurds on the bikes and the triple clamp as well? had a problem with the paint coming off one of my ankle gaurds due to rubbing against my boot and then having the soft alloy?/aluminum? rubbing off onto my boot and leaving silver marks. Gonna get the bastards powdercoated (will only cost $16.50) but I shouldn't have to, why the hell did they use normal wet paint?. Undecided if I'll do the triple clamp (ie to stop keys/key tags scratching off the paint) coz that would put the bike out of action for at least a day or two.

Yeah my 02 has a little bit of that, not much you can do about it. The 03 is polished so there is nothing that can come off.
So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

yeah i polished one of mine up, the one causing the problem, and the actuall alloy is coming off onto my boot.

Yeah I'd have to agree, the stainless steel ankle gaurds and triple clamp would be Honda's best selling point
