  • OK, I'm bored so.. What's your fav corner / stretch of road?

I finally hit that Reid Hwy / Mitchel Fwy left sweeper, not to shabby at all but my all time favourite corner is the on ramp to the Polly Farmer from Great Eastern Hwy. Awesome, kneedragging sweeper.

Fav stretch? Hmmm, that new section from under the hay Street bridge on the Fwy heading south, take the left exit that goes to Mounts Bay road, you know that new bit, nice right into a short left into the city, turn left head up to the Narrows, go under that and hit the sharp left that goes back onto the Narrows....damn well gives me a woody!!!!

There's heaps more like on the River run, a few there, the Mossy Park run, a couple on that plus a few others. You guys got any?

Personally, excessive speeding isn't my favourite thing.. it's too risky doing 250kph.

I like Hay street in subi with all those speed humps, from the hospital all the way past the red sea.. it's great doing power wheelies and getting the wheel spinning at the same time over those humps.

Undercover car parks make exhaust noizer. =]

Fav corners? I'm not at the point of my riding life where I push my bike hard around corners.. I'm still scared there might be a sprinkler wetting the road around the bend, or a bit of sand or something. The bends around the back of Burswood Casino are funky though.

Personally I love every road and every corner.. it's all great on a bike. One of my fav things is doing top speed runs down the freeway though at 2 am when no one is around so no one will complain.
Right now Im having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think Ive forgotten this before.

i mostly ride that way to save the tyres from flat spotting on the freeway. not that it does any good.

There's a nice smooth corner on Stakehill rd (bottom of fwy) near the pine forrest (explosives range?)... the cats eyes glow in the dark on that one too 8)

I gotta admit, I'm over going fast, I mean any idiot can go fast in a straight line plus the coppers are out there in a big way. Nearly got done today (unmarked white Commodore).

I'm with Scum-Bag on the jandakot road run, thats a blast!

Also the run down to the Quindenning pub kicks ass!

Favourite corner: Reid Hwy/Mitchell fwy onramp. do it all the time (live nice n close to it). can manage ~110 on the little rgv speedo (probably 105 real life speed) as i get towards the end of the corner. u dont wanna kinda loose it round it though, otherwise you'll launch the kerb and head into oncoming traffic.....so lately have been taking it eazier.

Favourite Stretch of road: im a 2nd for O'Brien road. its a dangerous stetch (18km of twisty roads with a few nice straights for those that havnt tried it. then turn round at hte bottom and head back up) of road, but damm its a rush

Obrian road is nice as.... but lets not forget about the second last corner where the Ducati riders sign is. He was at the front of the pack, came off, rapped himself around a tree, was ridden past unseen seen by his mates. Found several hours later. You can still find bits of his helmet lyin around that spot.

Nice bita road, but be carefull folks, a long time for an ambo to arrive.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

I agree, but you have to show respect to every road, not just that one
I know a few people have thrown their bikes down that road

I second that. Obrians isn't on my list of favs, very dangerous piece of road...... be so careful out there guys, the last thing i want is to go to a funeral of a fellow rider.
