Not happy at all but that's lafe in the Navy. Off to Sydney to commence more training, oh friggin joy. So looks like I'll miss the paintball day and the Perth Extreme day.... Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

You guys better get shit loads of photos for me!!

I'll be leaving on the 6th of October or there abouts. Dunno how long for or anything but hey, Perth is home so I'll definatly be back.

So a whole month to kill guys, we gotta get some riding in before I leave and I'm sure I'll be organising a day / night before I bail out of here for a farewell kinda thing or something like that.

Camps if you organise something and Im not working I'll come. Don't be too bummed, Sydney is an awesome place to VISIT (as you will be). Great night life, great shops (hhmm the shops). You are going to take the bike?? I'll tell you some great rides, and please send us reports that will make me green with envy. There are some places over there where you can have your arse off and knee down for about 50km non stop (like Kangaroo Valley and Macqaurie pass) through amazing scenery and fantastic roads. I can remember so clearly the first time I did like a flip flop thing through a section of zig zags down Mac Pass, the feeling in my stomach as it turned but the g's hit me and pushed me back on the bike while the wind tried to rip me off. All the time Im thinking about the 50 m drop off down the escarpment beside me, no fence. What a mad rush, too much. I think it was this that got me hooked for life. You'll love it!

I am riding the 'blade over in Early Oct and might make it to Syd from the GP, yet to decide. So I might see you over.

Can second those roads that rebecca was talkin about, they are like nothin that we have here. It's the best fun I've ever had on a bike riding over east. Also there as so many of them, you won't get bored, guarrantee it.

Hey thanks Bec and bigbird, I've lived in Sydney a couple of times when I was working at Triple M over there and for training at Watson for 4 months then I was posted on HMAS Stuart and based in Sydney for 4 months again. I'll be taking the bike but all my other stuff will remain in storage until I come home.

I've done the Putty road before as well as the National Park but hopefully there'll be some people over there that can show me around some more.

I hate Sydney though, to big, fast and just not my kinda town plus the job is going to take it in the ass. Sitting on my bum 4 stories under the ground playing war games. Oh joy.

Tell me about it mate. I'm really pissed at it but thats part of military life. Fingers crossed I won't be there for long but worst case, I'm looking at being there for up to 18 months.

Just goona make the most of it and ride all the runs and some track days while I can....mmmm Eastern Creek, Bathurst....even ride down to Phillip Island!
