  • Listening to music while riding

    I was thinking of getting a small radio and a set of headphones, but thought it might get a bit distracting while riding..
    What u guys reckon? Anyone Do/Done it.

      Yeah I've done before, It's ok but make sure you can easily adjust the volume. When your flying along the freeway you need it up loud to beat the wind noise but then when your cruising along the streets if it's too loud it can be dangerous... Well that's my findings
      ie. when your in a busy street and music is screaming I find I loose some concentration...

      maybe I'm just getting old !

              A guy at work uses an mp3 player.. real small and compact and he doesn't seem to have any dramas ie hasn't crashed because of it
              Right now Im having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think Ive forgotten this before.

                    If anyone has tried this, what experiences have people had with earphone? I have used a cd player in a backpack before, but the earphones kept fallingout... Anyone reccommend a good set / style?

                      Hmmm, iPod's still the number 1 MP3 / MP4 player in the world

                      Bang-Olufsen must be the sound it makes when you get the shits with it and thorw it through a window!!

                            Obviously you have never owned, have never listened too and never will own a B&O.

                              deej: Bah! B&O is just Bose for people with bigger budgets. My uncle-in-law has spent way too much on his B&O setup (TV, BeoSound 9000, $10k speakers) and I'm fairly confident I could blow it away with a good Rotel power-amp, Meridian CD player and some B&W or Kef speakers.

                              Just my 2c, though.
