I thought about doing it on my CBR1000F and looked into it.
Extremely hard to do yourself. It involves cracking open the speedo and removing needles. The ones on the CBR are bloody hard to get into. Very difficult to do without taking it to an instrument fitter.
Me I came to the conclusion that I don't spend that much time looking at my clocks that its worth the cost of paying someone to do it or the chance of stiffing it up if I attempt it myself.
