Fuel Tank

Hi All

Mate of mine looking for a fuel tank for a 1991 GPX250. The one on the bike now has a slight leak.

If anyone can send me in the right direction or has one for sale. Much appreciate any info.

after the 2nd fibreglass patchup busted on my old tank(maybe look into this too?) the wonderful blokes from 2wheel wreckers sorted me out with a cheaper 2nd hand one. wasnt a matching colour but re-spraying is easy to DIY before installation. im not sure that GPX fuel tanks are different dimensions between years(like some of the fairings) but its easy to ask

Not too sure how many fuel tanks they have but damn they have a lot of spares...

1988-2007 GPX fuel tanks are the same IIRC.

Where's the leak? If it's not too big (i.e. a few mm or something) then I'd say get some POR-15 fuel tank sealer, drain the tank, sand the area where the leak is, and then apply a few layers.

If it's a big leak or rusted to hell, then get a new tank.
